Working with data
Skeyeform gives you three ways to get data in and one place to manage it. Which forms you see in each section depends on your role and on which forms you've been assigned.
The data browser
Data lists the forms you can access; open one to see its submissions.
From here you can:
- Browse every row collected by the form
- Export the submissions for use elsewhere
- Delete a row, or select several and bulk delete them
Row deletion has to be allowed in the form's configuration — see Allow row deletion.
Spreadsheet entry
The Spreadsheet section gives you a grid view of a form, so you can type rows directly instead of submitting the form one entry at a time. It's the fastest option when you're transcribing a batch of records by hand.
Excel import
The Excel section is for bulk-loading data you already have in a file.
- Open Excel and choose your form.
- Download the template — an
.xlsxfile with the correct column headers for that form. - Fill it in offline.
- Upload the completed file to import the rows.
A few details:
- The maximum upload size is 64 MB.
- Header matching is case-insensitive, so
Regionandregionboth work. - Empty rows are skipped rather than imported as blanks.
Always start from the downloaded template. It guarantees the headers line up with the form's field keys, which is what makes the import match correctly.
Imports are recorded in the activity log and notify the team, so there's always a trace of who loaded what.
